We are enormously grateful to all of our supporters, who enabled us to purchase the house and estate to continue as a Christian centre, and who help sustain us on an ongoing basis.
How to make a donation
If you would like to support Scargill by making a donation, please use the Donation and Gift Aid form to tell us about your donation.
With this form you can tell us about:
- Making one-off or regular donations
- How you will be making your donation
- Wanting to support a particular fund (see below)
- Making a Gift Aid declaration
If you are making a bank transfer, our bank details are – sort code 20-78-42 and account number 33810402. Please make sure you write your name as the reference so we know where the donation has come from and can match it up with any Gift Aid declaration.
If you are sending a cheque, please make it payable to “Scargill Movement” and send it to Scargill House at our postal address.
If you just need to make a Gift Aid declaration, for either past or future donations, you can use this Gift Aid form.
Different funds to support
Our Bursary Fund
Many people who would benefit from a stay at Scargill sadly may stuggle financially to be able to do so. By donating to the bursary fund, you can give someone the chance to visit Scargill when they would otherwise not be able to afford to come. You can read more about our Bursary Fund.
Our Building Development Fund
We have a lot to be thankful for here at Scargill, not least being that our guest income now covers our running costs. That said we have many exciting plans to make the buildings more suitable for those who come to visit us and kinder to the environment.
This fund is used for our ongoing medium term improvements to the buildings and also for our longer term develoment plans, which you can read more about here.
If you select this option on the Donation and Gift Aid form, then we will use your donation where it is most needed, most likely in one of the two funds above.
