Our website uses Google Analytics to collect information about how you browse the website, so it can be improved based on your needs.  This doesn’t include any personal details like name, address or precise location.

Google Analytics measures things like :

  • the pages you visit on the website
  • how long you spend on each page
  • how you got to the website
  • what you click on while you’re visiting the website

Google is not allowed to use or share the analytics data from our website.

The cookies set by Google Analytics are :

  • _ga helps us count visitors by tracking if you’ve visited before.  It is saved for 2 years.
  • _gid also helps with this, and is saved for 24 hours.
  • _gat manages the rate at which page view requests are made, and is saved for 10 minutes.

Our website also sets a cookie to remember your preference if you click “That’s fine” on the cookie message at the bottom.

Our website also saves a few more cookies if you log in to edit or view the admin dashboard of the website.  These enable the admin area to function properly.
