Scargill House currently offers 70 guest beds in 43 rooms in various accommodation wings.
We have 8 en-suites that are a mixture of twin and double bed and two twin ground floor accessible en-suites for people with mobility needs. The rest of our rooms (standard) are not en-suite but all have a washbasin. We have 21 single rooms, 6 twin-bedded rooms, 5 double-bedded rooms and a triple-bedded room.
You’ll find all our rooms are clean, warm and comfortable; that’s part of the welcome that we extend to you!
En-suites and bathrooms
Cragdale, our en-suite wing, offers two floors of simple but beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Two of these rooms have adjoining rooms with bunk-beds for two children. The en-suite rooms are in high demand and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Accessible Rooms
We have two rooms that are step free, and hence accessible to people who require step free access. These rooms are also in high demand but we will always try to find a suitable room for everyone.
Animals
Please note, as much as we love animals at Scargill House guests cannot bring their pets with them when they stay with us. The only exception is for assistance dogs. It is not permitted to leave dogs in a car while you attend an event at Scargill House.
