Google your mind on the subject of ‘Mothers in the Bible’ and you might be as intrigued as we were by the number it is
possible to remember without trying all that hard. Many, like Jochebed, the devoted and determined mother of Moses, and Mary, who famously persuaded Jesus to provide alcohol for a wedding that had run dry, loved their sons and did their very individual best to get things right. One or two were shocking. Shocking! You may recall Solomon having to sort one of those out, and the cunning mother of Esau and Jacob was definitely no better than she should have
been.
Quite a mixture. Some very good stories, though, with smiles and tears and lessons to learn along the way. We very much look forward to you being with us through this particular weekend.
