The Biblical image of wilderness speaks of a place of both testing and
transformation. Journeying through the wilderness can be a struggle, yet it also
provides opportunities to encounter God’s sustaining grace and (re)discover
sources of renewal and hope. During this retreat there will be times of teaching
and discussion as well as reflective practices and periods of silence, all held
within the daily rhythm of prayer and shared meals. Together, we hope to
encounter God not in spite of the wilderness but within it, discovering that even
in times of uncertainty God’s grace continues to sustain us.
