Plans and projects help, but the central need for dulled and demoralised Christians is genuine renewal of relationship. Famously, two disciples heading for Emmaus were filled with disappointment until they encountered the resurrected Jesus. Their hearts burned inside them, and everything changed. That’s what this weekend is about. So what are the pathways of change for us? They are many and varied. You might be surprised.
