We are enormously grateful to all of our supporters who enabled us to purchase the house and estate and who now help sustain Scargill.

If you just need to make a Gift Aid declaration, for either past or future donations, you can use this Gift Aid form. If you would like to support Scargill by making a donation, please use the Donation and Gift Aid form to tell us about your donation.  There are three different funds that you can support financially:

Our Bursary Fund

Many people who would benefit from a stay at Scargill sadly may struggle financially to be able to do so. By donating to the Bursary Fund, you can give someone the chance to visit Scargill when they would otherwise not be able to afford to come.

Our Building Development Fund

We have many exciting plans to make the buildings more suitable for those who come to visit us and kinder to the environment. This fund is used for our ongoing medium term improvements to the buildings and also for our longer term development plans.

General

If you select the ‘General’ option on the Donation and Gift Aid form, then we will use your donation where it is most needed, most likely in one of the two funds above.

How to make a donation

There are few ways that you can donate to Scargill and all donations are gratefully received. Please use our donation form to tell us about your donation, so that it can be recorded correctly and go to the place you intend for it.

If you’re donating more than £100 or making a regular donation, then our preference is that you fill in our Donation and Gift Aid Form as this enables us to claim any tax back and also ensures that the most money possible comes to support Scargill.

Bank Transfer

If you are making a bank transfer, our bank details are – sort code 20-78-42 and account number 33810402. Please make sure you write your name as the reference so we know where the donation has come from and can match it up with any Gift Aid declaration.

Cheque

If you are sending a cheque, please make it payable to “Scargill Movement” and send it to Scargill House at our postal address.
