The pressures of life and of serving in the church can squeeze joy out of us until it becomes an infrequent visitor. We get used to living with its absence, while also missing the depth of joy that we have occasionally stumbled upon and
long to rediscover. We will look at what the Bible says about joy, Jesus’ teaching about joy, and joy as the Spirit’s fruit. We’ll pray to be re-joyed!

Kevin and Ann work with ReSource whose aim is to enable deeper encounters with
the Holy Spirit, so every Christian can flourish in their calling.
Kevin and Anne Roberts are in the early years of retirement after many years in local church leadership, and as an Archdeacon (Kevin) and in hospital, hospice and school chaplaincy (Anne). Kevin was the Director of ReSource (Anglican Renewal Ministries) before retirement and both Kevin and Anne still minister for ReSource nationally. Kevin chairs the Board of SOMA UK and both Kevin and Anne have a passion for Holy Spirit renewal in local churches internationally. They are enjoying having more time in retirement to spend with their three grown children and eight grandchildren, who bring a lot of joy!
