Pentecost vividly reminds us how we can be alive to God’s Spirit through all our senses. How can we discover God through sight, sound, smell, touch and taste? Together we will explore works of visual art from the Middle Ages to the present, offering fresh ways of encountering God through our senses.

Debbie Lewer
Dr Deborah Lewer is Senior Lecturer in History of Art at the University of Glasgow. She is an expert in modern art in particular and in the rich relationship between art and theology. She is a regular speaker on retreats, at festivals, in theological colleges and in churches as well as in art galleries.
