A retreat for those who make lace of any kind – bobbin, needle, crochet, tatting. We shall explore how our craft can help us to create space for meeting God in stillness. There will be talks each day relating our craft to spirituality, and times of silence as we craft together. Do bring something you are confident with as there will be no teaching of your actual craft. Having said that when we are not in silence we can be inspired by each other’s work and can of course share tips and ideas. There will be plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings at Scargill.

Jayne, an Anglican Priest, has found lace making and similar textile crafts to be a wonderful blessing in her ministry and enjoys sharing her experience in a variety of contexts. (See: facebook.com/lacemakingpilgrim)
