An invitation to explore the gift of Julian of Norwich, in the spacious and beautiful setting of Scargill. The title – Strong in love, peaceful and restful – comes from the closing of the Short Text of Julian’s Revelations of Divine Love and will be our focus on this retreat. It reflects our own experience of spending time in the company of Julian, and it will be our hope and prayer for you. The week will offer a spacious mix of teaching, stillness and contemplative prayer, with suggestions for photography and creative attention to the beautiful land and sky-scapes at Scargill.
Gail is a life coach and spiritual accompanier with a particular interest in practices for engaging well with new seasons of life. Ian is a poet, photographer and spiritual director and will be sharing some poems from his Unfurling collection. He is Spirituality Lead at Church Mission Society.
