Over the last year or so we are not surprised to have heard from more and more Christians who are feeling the strain of maintaining peace in their lives on a day-to-day basis. In forty years of working with believers we have learned to respect the healing qualities of humour and reality; discovering reasons and permission to laugh, whilst offering ourselves and others an amnesty on the sharing of vulnerability and confusion in connection with faith.
This weekend, apart from letting humour do its best stuff, we shall be exploring the good news from Jesus in what we call ‘the Beatitudes’, that those who are honest and open about living in the real world are truly blessed.
