Listening well in a world of turmoil. An Advent retreat led by members of the Northumbrian Collective looking at what
it means to listen well, drawing on the life of Jesus. In the midst of turbulence, Jesus was able to listen in a way that enabled him to live with defiant faith, hope and love. Alone and together, we will explore ways of listening.

The Northumbrian Collective is a collaboration of friends: Roy Searle, Julie Bryan, Craig Millward, Simon Hall and Dave
Ward. They enjoy one another’s company and appreciate the gift of friendship, stimulating conversations, good food, wine and laughter. They believe it’s possible to build bridges of understanding, uncover ancient wisdom for modern times and grow resilient communities of hope as well as sharing Christian faith.
