Discover the varied birdlife that calls the beautiful Yorkshire Dales home in Spring. With Scargill House as our base we will explore the area surrounding Wharfedale. where the hills, streams, rivers and lakes are full of nesting birds at this time of year. We will be aiming to see and hear birds such as Redstarts, Pied and Spotted Flycatchers, Peregrines, Ring Ouzels, Short and Long-eared Owls, Dippers and more.

Our walks will be as accessible as possible but some will involve uphill walking as well as not always being flat under foot. Walks may be up to 5 miles in length. Stout footwear is essential, as well as waterproof clothing and layers that can be removed or applied. Please bring a pair of binoculars with you!
