Mike Weighell

Come and discover the wild moorlands and mountains of the Dales and the beautiful valleys below. We will be climbing some of the highest mountains in the Dales, like Buckden Pike in Wharfedale , and some of the lesser known fells in Swaledale and Wharfedale.

The walks will be STRENUOUS, challenging mountain and fell walks, 10-12 miles in length taking around 6 hours to complete. There will be lots of steep climbs and rough moorland walking over potentially wet and boggy ground throughout the day.

These walks are only suitable for regular mountain and fell walkers. At the end of the day we will have time to relax and reflect on the beautiful scenery of the Dales and enjoy the hospitality of Scargill.

If you would like to attend, but the cost of the ticket is a difficulty for you, then contact Phil in confidence about a bursary to help with the cost.
