Mike Weighell

Come and discover the wild moorlands and mountains of the Dales, and the beautiful valleys below. We will be climbing some of the highest mountains in the Dale, like Birks fell in upper Wharfedale, and some of the less well known fells in Swaledale and Wensleydale.

The walks will be STRENUOUS and challenging mountain walks, 10-12 miles each day and taking around six hours to complete. There will be lots of steep climbs and rough moorland walking throughout the day. These walks are only suitable for regular mountain and fell walkers. At the end of the day we will have time to relax and reflect on the beautiful scenery of the Dales and enjoy the hospitality of Scargill.

If you would like to attend, but the cost of the ticket is a difficulty for you, then contact Phil in confidence about a bursary to help with the cost.
