This is an online-only event.

Time out. For you and for God. Relax, unwind, let go.

Join us for a programme of worship, teaching and reflections as we come together virtually in friendship. We will also celebrate Candlemas this weekend – a chance to touch base with joy and receive a blessing. As the baby Jesus is presented in the Temple, for Simeon and Anna a lifelong wait is fulfilled. Simeon receives the Christ child in his arms, and Anna praises her God. Mary, known as God-bearer, hears Simeon’s words which are bitter-sweet. In this profound encounter we will look afresh at what it means to wait, receive and bear the love of Jesus. Come and gaze in wonder with us at this special child, Jesus.

Session Times:

Fri 29th Jan: 7:45pm for 8-9pm

Sat 30th Jan: 10am and 4:30pm

Sun 31st Jan: 12 noon

A ticket covers one device to connect and is not per person, for example, if two of you share a laptop, you just need one ticket. The Zoom sessions will also be available for 2 weeks after the event as a recording if you can’t make it live.

If you book onto this event, you will receive an e-mail from us by 18:00 on Thursday 28th January with further details of the event including the links (Zoom and/or YouTube).
