Mat Ineson

This is an online-only event.

Come and join us for a Quiet Day hosted by Scargill and led by Mat Ineson, from the comfort of your own home.

From Refuge to Praise. Psalm 57 was written in a cave. It begins seeking refuge in God and ends shattering the darkness with praise of God. As we enter February Mat invites you to share that journey from darkness to light. Mat is the Vicar of Kendal Parish Church and St Thomas’ Crosscrake and and his wife Emma were once chaplains at Lee Abbey in North Devon. Mat is enjoying being reconnected with Community and guests at Scargill and is looking forward to spending a day on retreat.

This day will be hosted by Scargill with input sessions and opportunity for discussion in small groups, and in-between time to reflect and pray.

9:45am – time to log on for 10am Welcome and session 1

12 noon – opportunity for some small group discussion

A ticket covers one device to connect and is not per person, for example, if two of you share a laptop, you just need one ticket.

The Quiet Day is free and on Zoom. If you would like to donate then we suggest an amount of £20 for the day. Our Eventbrite system has two types of tickets for each event, but both give you the same access. You can either book a Free ticket OR a Donation ticket (minimum donation is £1) – please do choose the ticket that suits you. If you’d rather make a donation in a different way, that’s absolutely fine – just choose the free ticket. Thank you!

If you book onto this event, you will receive an e-mail from us by 18:00 on Friday 5th February with further details of the event including the links (Zoom). Please note that this event is a repeat of the Quiet Day on Monday 1st February.
