This is an online-only event.
Let us make time to listen to God as we journey together during this Individually Guided Retreat!
An online individually guided retreat offers you the time and opportunity to focus on God and to be more aware of what he is doing in our lives. It’s about making space for him and deepening our relationship with him at this time, when so much else is uncertain and often disturbing. Each retreatant will have their own guide to meet with at an agreed time, for about 30 minutes daily (Tuesday to Friday) to help you reflect on where you are in your life. Morning worship with a talk will be offered at the start each day and night prayer will close each evening – all via Zoom.
Being at home can bring its own challenges and it is important to think about how you will deal with all the possible distractions around you in order to make the most of this retreat and also of how you will use each day. Try to clear your diary of any other commitments in order to enter fully into the retreat. You will be emailed resources offering various ideas along with other materials for joining in worship etc.
A retreat at home can be enormously enriching – remember we are seeking to encounter God who is limitless and abounding in love and compassion and he has promised to draw near to us whenever we draw near to him and he knows us far better than we know ourselves.
