The gospel of Mark is a manifesto for radical, holistic discipleship. His story challenges and subverts the ways in which we see and live in the world. And it leaves us with an empty tomb and scared disciples still summoned to continue witnessing. This week we’ll explore Mark’s core message and what it might give to us contemporary pilgrims. What might it mean being a people defined by resurrection? What might it mean being summoned to return to our world as witnesses being ‘courageous and a little scared’? Andreas is a Chaplain at Scargill.
