Join the Scargill Community on a journey through the events of Holy Week. There will be reflections, rest and prayer stations as we journey with Jesus to the cross.
The Holy Week event runs to coffee time on Thursday (11am), – and for those guest staying on there is a relaxed time late morning, lunch, and through to late afternoon when we welcome guests arriving for the Easter weekend to join our journey together for the next part of Holy week into Easter weekend.
On the evening of Maundy Thursday we begin with a meal with Communion as we travel together through the agony of Good Friday, the trembling hope of Saturday, and the wonder and glory of Easter Sunday as once again we cry “Christ is Risen!” There’ll be a programme for the children and young people as well as opportunities for all generations to join together.
