Bishop Bob Evens

Snowdrops in February are a sign of the coming Spring and remind us of the hidden growth taking place below ground which waits to emerge and bring joy. In the warmth of Scargill House, Bishop Bob will encourage us to hear afresh God’s longing for us to flourish and bring us closer to himself so the hidden growth within us can emerge. Bob Evens lives in Cheltenham and was Bishop of Crediton in Devon until he retired in 2012. He leads Quiet Days and Retreats, including at Lee Abbey, and loves to open the Bible in conversation with others using paintings, pictures and music.
