Henriette Howarth

Walking, pilgrimage and meditation are life-giving spiritual practices in the Christian tradition. We will be walking in the landscape of the Yorkshire Dales to become more deeply aware of ourselves, of God and of our place on the earth. There will also be time and space for guided and silent meditation, scriptural explorations and worship. The walks will be of varied lengths suitable for all. Those who can’t walk long distances can enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of Scargill House, which is wheelchair and walking frame accessible. Everyone is welcome including families with (young) children. Parents/carers will be responsible for their children.

Henriette is an Anglican priest, spiritual director and meditation teacher. Gabriela is involved with Catholic People’s Weeks. Matt Stoney is a practical philosopher and runs a gardening business. (Money should not be a barrier- do let us know if you want to apply for a bursary.) For more information contact Henriette.howarth@leeds.anglican.org)
