Donna Worthington

We will explore the remarkable spirituality of Saint Ignatius, a deep disciple of Christ. Entering into Ignatian discernment will be through film and we will experience Ignatian imaginative guided prayer and his Examen prayer. We will also practise a contemplative way of seeing the natural world through the poetry of the Christian poet, Gerard Manley Hopkins. Both Ignatius and Manley Hopkins saw ‘God in all things’.

Donna is an experienced retreat giver and worked at the ecumenical Tabor Retreat Centre in Preston, Lancashire, which involved leading retreats, events exploring spirituality, contemplative prayer/meditation and creative liturgy.
