Jerry Lepine

Exploring Advent spirituality through some of the ‘landscape passages’ from the prophet Isaiah. Every Christian season has its own windows on spirituality, ways in which our understanding and encounter with God can be nurtured. This will affect the way we see the world and express our faith. The book of Isaiah appears regularly in this season and we shall be mining some of the ‘landscape passages’ that are used in the set readings to go deeper into the meaning of Advent. Art, literature, music, poetry and film might also make an appearance. Some silent reflection time will be encouraged.

Over the last 40 years Jerry has ministered in London and the South East, Nottingham and latterly as Dean of Bradford in the Diocese of Leeds until 2021. His interests include the arts, music, French rugby, Benedictine monasteries and the regeneration of cities.
