Scargill House currently offers 70 guest beds in 43 rooms in various accommodation wings.

Some of our bedrooms are singles, but most are twins, and there are two rooms specially adapted for people with disabilities.

You’ll find all our rooms are clean, warm and comfortable; that’s part of the welcome that we extend to you!

En suites and bathrooms

Cragdale, our en-suite wing, offers two floors of simple but beautiful en-suite bedrooms. Two of these rooms have adjoining rooms with bunk-beds for two children.

We can’t always guarantee rooms in Cragdale, but if this important to you then please book early and ask for availability at the time of booking (there is a small surcharge for en-suite rooms). Rooms in the other wings all have their own sink, with toilets and bathrooms not far away.

Points to note

  • Bedding and towels are provided
  • Most rooms lock from the inside (ie. when you’re in them), but don’t lock from the outside. Rooms in Cragdale also lock from the outside.
  • There are tea and coffee points around the residential wings, where you can make yourself a hot drink as often as you like at no additional charge (fresh milk is in the fridges, and decaffeinated drinks are also supplied).

Disabled access rooms

People with disabilities can access most parts of the building including the Chapel via the lift, and we offer two en-suite rooms for those with disabilities. Read more about disability access at Scargill…

Youth groups

A set of appropriate rooms are located close to our Three Peaks wing, which contains the Den, the art rooms and the games room – all ideal for youth weekends away!
